Clubs and Honors

Triota Honor's Society

That's right WGS students, we have a WGS Honor's Society -- Iota, Iota, Iota (or Triota)! We can't say come one, come all because this club does not work that way. So, then, who can become a member? Well you must meet certain criteria: 3.5 WGS GPA, 3.0 overall GPA, have a minimum of 6 WGS credits, and be a WGS major or minor. You will need to do a few things: join by the end of your senior year (easy peasy), perform service for the program (who doesn't want to work on the library window for women's history month), and pay a small fee (a bargain at $15.00). Plus you get some treats -- a pin and certificate and a nice honor's cord for graduation. And if you have colleagues who were thinking of being WGS majors or minors mention this exciting new venture to them as incentive to declare. Join Iota, Iota, Iota if you meet the criteria and if you do not yet meet the criteria think of Triota as your goal! Contact Dr. R. to apply (
