Undergraduate Research Opportunities

Getting Published and Presenting at Conferences

Do you have an excellent research paper that you would like to share with a larger academic audience? Submit your research to one of our campus publications or present your research at an upcoming conference.

Where Do I Start?

  1. Visit the Undergraduate Research at South Bend website to find information about the IU South Bend Undergraduate Research Conference, Tips for Conference Presentation, and a list of Research Awards and Prizes. Under the section Publishing Your Research you will find a list of campus, regional, and national publications. Under the section Presenting Your Research you will find a list of conference opportunities organized by discipline.
  2. Seek mentorship with your professor or advisor to guide you in getting your research published or presenting it at a conference.

New Views on Gender

New Views on Gender is an annual all student publication. We are interested in both research and creative work (poetry, short stories, photography, artwork, etc.) that deals with issues of gender and sexuality.
